Carter v. GenServe

In September 2016, eight generator technicians and field service engineers filed a lawsuit in New York state court against GenServe, a generator installation, maintenance, repair and servicing contractor. The Plaintiffs allege that although they performed physical manual labor, they did not receive prevailing wages for work performed on public works projects for entities including New York City Transit Authority, New York City Department of Corrections, New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, New York City Department of Education and the State University of New York, and numerous cities and towns throughout New York state.
