Guzman v. Bravo Supermarket (A.S. Fulton Food Corp.)

In June 2015, a porter/stock employee filed a lawsuit in federal court against a Bravo Supermarket grocery store located in Brooklyn, New York. The Plaintiff alleges that he was paid a flat weekly rate that did not compensate him for minimum wage or include overtime premiums even though he typically worked between 50 and 68 hours per week. The Complaint asserts additional wage and hour violations including failure to pay spread of hours premiums on days when Plaintiff worked more than 10 hours and failure to provide wage statements and wage notice as required by New York law.
