Pote v. Central Construction

In January 2015, an employee who worked for Central Construction and BZ Construction as a driver, foreman and junior project manager filed a complaint in federal court in Brooklyn against Defendants’ general construction and contracting companies. Plaintiff alleges that during most of his employment he was paid at an hourly rate but was not paid overtime premiums even though he worked much more than forty hours per week. Similarly, when he was paid a flat weekly rate, Plaintiff alleges that he did not receive overtime. The Complaint asserts additional wage and hour violations including failure to provide wage notices and wage statements.
