Prior to founding Pelton & Associates PC, which became Pelton Graham LLC in 2016, Mr. Pelton previously worked in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, one of the nation’s 100 largest law firms. Mr. Pelton’s practice focused on the representation of employers in FLSA overtime claims and directors and officers in liability claims arising out of corporate transactions. Mr. Pelton also defended professional liability, employment and negligence claims, and provided coverage and litigation advice for stock option backdating, late trading and market timing, and major securities litigation.

PRACTICE AREAS
Mr. Pelton’s practice focuses on representing employees alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and its state law counterparts, employees who have been subject to sexual harassment and other forms of workplace discrimination. Mr. Pelton has served as lead counsel or co-lead counsel on FLSA collective actions and other class actions against some of the largest companies in the country, representing dozens or hundreds of individual employees in each case. Mr. Pelton conducts all of his case carefully and strategically, in order to recover the highest possible amount of unpaid wages and liquidated damages for his clients.
