Prior to joining the firm, Alison L. Mangiatordi was a trial attorney for Burns & Harris, Esqs. where she was lead or co-lead counsel for several jury trials. During law school, she participated in The George Washington University Law School’s Public Justice Advocacy Clinic where she represented clients in wage-and-hour lawsuits and unemployment insurance hearings. She was awarded the Ogden W. Fields Graduate Prize for Excellence in Labor Law and the Pro Bono Service Award.
Ms. Mangiatordi lives in Brooklyn with her husband, toddler and fluffy dog (Sgt. Pepper). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, indoor cycling, hiking and traveling.
PRACTICE AREAS
Ms. Mangiatordi is an attorney whose practice focuses primarily on collective actions and class actions to recover unpaid overtime wages and/or unpaid prevailing wages, employment discrimination and sexual harassment claims, qui tam whistleblower claims, breach of employment contract claims and serious personal injury matters. Alison has worked at the firm since 2013 and enjoys assisting employees to recover wages owed to them under the law, protecting employees against discrimination, harassment and retaliation, assisting individuals report serious instances of fraud to the government and helping seriously injured individuals obtain compensation for their injuries.
